Workshop Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
All workshop places must be booked in advance via the website.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
2. Cancellations and Transfers
If you need to cancel your place, please provide notice as soon as possible.
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund or transfer to an alternative session.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop are non-refundable. A transfer may be offered at discretion, subject to availability.
You may transfer your booking to another person if you are unable to attend, provided reasonable notice is given.
3. Changes to Workshops
The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Where this occurs, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Arrival and Timing
Participants are asked to arrive promptly at the scheduled start time.
Workshops will begin on time, and late arrival may result in missing essential demonstrations and safety instructions.
5. Health & Safety
Jewellery making involves the use of tools and processes that cut, heat, shape, and polish metal.
By attending, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with these activities.
Full instruction and guidance will be provided throughout the session, and all safety instructions must be followed at all times.
Safety equipment must be worn where instructed.
Long hair must be tied back, and loose clothing or jewellery secured.
Closed-toe footwear is required.
Participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to take part.
6. Participant Responsibility and Liability
Participants are responsible for working carefully and using all tools and equipment as instructed.
The organiser reserves the right to restrict or withdraw the use of equipment where it is considered unsafe.
The organiser accepts no liability for injury resulting from misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions.
Personal belongings are brought to workshops at the participant’s own risk.
7. Medical Conditions
Participants must inform the organiser in advance of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or accessibility requirements that may affect their ability to safely take part.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse participation where there are reasonable concerns regarding safety.
8. Age Restrictions
Workshops are suitable for participants aged 16+ unless otherwise stated.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
9. Materials and Making
Materials included in the workshop fee are outlined in the workshop description.
Additional materials may be available to purchase on the day.
While guidance and support will be provided throughout, completion of all pieces cannot be guaranteed and will depend on individual pace.
10. Workshop Environment
Workshops are intended to be calm, creative, and supportive spaces.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others and the workspace at all times.
Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
11. Photography
Photographs may occasionally be taken during workshops for use on the website and social media.
Please notify the organiser in advance or on the day if you prefer not to be included in any images.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
